Boomerangs
Boomerangs were used by Australian
Aborigines for hunting, sports,
digging and in corroborees. Hunting
boomerangs were usually non-returning.
They include the "Hook"
boomerang which had a hook at
one end. The hunting boomerang
has a more gradual "arc"
shape. Boomerangs were highly
valued by the men of the tribe.
